30 days of the T-Tapp challenge was exhausting but fantastic! I have been doing T-Tapp since October and have found success with it but I have to admit that since December I wasn't as consistent as I would like to be. So when the challenge came I was excited to kick myself in the butt and work. Trainer Jen put me on a regime that rotated what I already had- Basic, Total, Step Away the Inches and Lower Body 3. I did one of those almost every day. There were 2 or 3 days I didn't do a specific workout but I always did Primary Back Stretch and Hoe Downs. I think my neighbors across the street probably think I am crazy because when I would be waiting for my tea to be ready I would do a set of hoe downs! So I tried to fit it in my busy life of home schooling my 4 children and managing all of our activities. I was planning on really changing my eating during these 30 days but I actually went away with my husband for a few days the second weekend of the challenge and was so hungry I ate what I wanted. I also started using the Fibertox and Alfalfa along with the Blow Your Buns Oil. I noticed the difference in my thighs and my neck. That was fun! In the end I lost about 19 inches and 10 pounds. I have to say I take thyroid medication and have a very sluggish metabolism. T-Tapp is the only exercise that seems to make a difference for me. I have done almost every exercise program imaginable-Pilates, Step, Body Pump, regular walking, swimming, etc, even programs bought from T.V. infomercials! I have been desperate over the years to really change my body. My husband will go up to our friends and family and say, '"look at my wife! Doesn't she look amazing? Her body is totally changing all because of these T-Tapp exercises!! Can you believe that?" So he is my cheering section, along with my kids. I am excited to have finished the challenge and for my children to see me work hard toword a goal so they can think about setting physical fitness goals and accomplishing them also. My kids could not do Primary Back Stretch or Hoe Downs to save their lives when I started T-Tapp but they have done some with me now and realize what it can do for their bodies and their minds. It can help them focus on their school work or expend energy when needed OR give them energy to push through the last few minutes of work. How can one program do all of that? T-Tapp does. Doing the challenge also helped me apply to be a director of a Classical Conversations community which I had been putting off. I knew it was something I needed to do but I questioned if it was something I could really do. Doing the challenge gave me confidence to go for it. So now the challenge is over and I am a new director! So many exciting things happening. I plan on continuing doing T-Tapp on a regular basis because honestly when I don't do it I miss it and I can feel a lack of energy for my day. When I do T-Tapp right away in the morning it gives me a sense of accomplishment and energy for my entire day. T-Tapp is one of those things that will forever be on my "changed my life" list!
