The very best news I heard all year was when the 2011 January Jump Start Challenge was announced! My sugar cravings and "carboholic" tendencies had gotten the better of me during the holidays, and I had not only gained a few pounds, but had added those pounds in the form of pure lard! With the extra craziness and stress that goes with the season, I had put my T-Tapping on the back burner for a couple of months. By the time the new year came, I was hooked on sweets, and so out of shape that even my arms had lost their muscular definiton, and my body had stored fat in places I didn't even usually show fat (such as bra bulges!), and I felt "squatty".
I didn't expect a challenge to be offered again, but I was hoping! I needed some accountability and motivation to get back to the "God made" vs. "man made" eating plan that I had gotten away from and to start back on a T-Tapping schedule. I do not recommend "falling off the wagon", but if that should happen, it's so great to know there is a roadmap "back" with T-Tapp! I am so thankful not to be one of those women that were stressing out trying to search and research all the latest "miracle" diets and exercise promises that always fill the newstands every January (...and, only to have them not work or, worse, even bulk you up instead of slimming you down!).
After I learned about T-Tapp just barely over a year ago, I have improved so many health problems that I chose NOT to enter in the "health problems" category. Through the workouts (especially "Basic Plus Workout", and just this past week, "Step Away The Inches"), eating plan, and information I have received through T-Tapp, I have overcome all sorts of chronic pain, fibromyalgia, PMS, and much more! I had lived with foot pain all my adult life, and never understood why until I met Teresa. It's incredible that something so basic, if you're doing it incorrectly, can mess up your whole life. Just learning the correct way to walk, stand, and about posture has been PRICELESS to me!
I feel very privileged that I was able to attend the Beauty Boot Camp last year as a first runner up. That boot camp changed my life!!! My passion is health, and so many of the things that I learned there have impacted my life in dramatic ways. I, also, learned many things that I have been able to pass on to my family, so it has also played an important role in their lives. I absolutely was in "heaven on earth" while there, and would LOVE to be able to win this Challenge to be able to soak up even more information, and meet so many really wonderful people, and especially to get to learn from Teresa again!
Actually, maybe the best news of the year for me now is..."My spandex camisoles, that I won't leave home without, are LOOSE on me!"!!! I knew from past experience that I could lose over 11 pounds, but I about had a hernia when I totalled up my inch loss to 14.5! What an incredible way to lose inches and feel great! I'm hooked for life! |
