Super slenderize me! I can't believe the results- over 34 inches lost.
I was introduced to T-Tapp last year when I reconnected with a dear friend on Facebook. She had posted something about T-Tapping and I thought maybe she had taken up tap dancing. Meaghan S explained what T-Tapping was and told me to check out the web site because she was a 30 Day Challenge 2009 winner. I was so impressed with her results, especially her beautiful posture. Meaghan gifted me with Fit and Fabulous in Fifteen Minutes. T-Tapp was exactly what I had been searching for to help me get in shape- a core building program that would not bulk up muscle under my considerable weight.
Unfortunately for my health I did not begin T-Tapping in February 2010. Probably because it was the most stressful and horrible year of my life. I lost weight and gained twice as much back. I was ill and exhausted most of the time. And taking care of my six young children (six full term pregnancies in eight years). If I only knew then what I know now- T-Tapp works brilliantly and it only takes 15 minutes. It is absolutely melting off 10 years of accumulated fat. I didn't even realize the staggering extent of my weight gain until I saw my pictures. I knew I was incredibly overweight, but I didn't know what it looked like. As you can imagine I have been avoiding cameras for years. I hate not looking how I want to look. But I don't care anymore; there I am for the entire world to see. I think it is helpful for someone trying to get the impetus to change their life to be able to look at the before and after pictures of someone like me and say if she can do it I can do it. I'm not afraid of obesity anymore because I have power over it. T-Tapp is a 15 minute skill for life and you will never have to be unfit again.
I am amazed at my results, because I didn't do a 14 day Boot Camp of the Total Workout and then the Total Workout every other day. I was a brand new T-Tapper who had already read the book. I started with the Instructional DVD #1 and did it several days in a row to begin building my core. I have been practicing getting the moves right. Then I did the Basic Plus every few days. I ordered the Total System, but UK customs took 2 weeks to get it to me, so I have just started skin brushing and supplementing in the past week. I have had a go at Instructional DVD #2 twice.
When I decided to enter the challenge I thought that it would give me a great push to begin T-Tapping and I was going to enter as Under 50 four or more dress sizes to lose. But when I looked at my pictures and thought about my life and health in general, I realized this was a last ditch effort to save my life. I was not a size 18 slimming down to a size 8; I was a very unfit person who was facing dire health problems. I had backache, terrible sugar craving, exhaustion, chronic colds and digestive trouble. I had very poor flexibility in my neck which made it difficult to turn my head while driving. I was very self-conscious of my size and that kept me from getting involved and mixing. The ever increasing strength in my lower back along with my weight loss is banishing my back ache. I have eliminated sugar and refined carbs from my diet and the fibertox and alfalfa supplements are really improving my digestion and toxin elimination. I have loads more energy and I haven't had a cold yet. I am on track to good health.
I intend to continue on measuring and photographing myself every 30 days. In March, I will continue learning and perfecting Basic Plus and going back to Instructional DVD# 1. Every few days I will do Instructional DVD# 2. At the end of the month if I have learned DVD# 2 and I am ready, then I will do a Boot Camp in the beginning of April. I will be skin brushing every day.
Every day I feel myself getting stronger and standing up straighter. I can feel my core muscles and indeed all my body developing in a way I have never experienced before, not even when I was a teenage swimmer who swam 5 hours a day and lifted weights several times a week. Watch out world I'm on my way back. I am so grateful to the wonderful Teresa Tapp whose incredible fitness program has changed and saved my life. I can't thank you enough.
