It was my lucky day back in October of 2000 when I met with my favorite massage therapist. I told her about a few skin flaws that I had. She advised me to skin brush with a brush purchased from her friend Teresa Tapp. Then she proceeded to tell me about a three day Fitness Event that Teresa was holding here at the Belleview Biltmore Resort and Spa in Clearwater, Florida.
I was unable to attend any of the fitness classes; however, I did go to the Saturday night Free Seminar. Teresa said that anyone could do her fitness program and said the youngest was 9 and the oldest was 60. I thought “Oh boy!” Here I was 73 years old at that time. At the end of the seminar I rushed up to her and asked if she thought I would be able to do the exercises. Teresa said, “I tell you what, I am working out at 6:00 AM Monday morning at the spa. You’re welcome to join me”. I did and the rest, as they say, is history.
Teresa was quite amazed that I did the whole exercise program and pretty well for my first time. Of course my form was not good, but I was hooked and I have been working out every morning at 6:00 AM since November 1, 2000.
When I started T-Tapping I was 5’ 1 ½” tall and weighed 158 pounds. I had a dowager’s hump and severe osteoporosis. I was on blood pressure, cholesterol and osteoporosis medications. Now at age 75, I have lost a total of 52 inches and 25 pounds. I am also standing much straighter and have gained another inch in height, gained 20% bone density in my right shoulder and 7% bone density in my lower lumbar area. I am happy to say that I am off ALL medications. In fact, my doctor was so impressed with my well being he said he had better start T-Tapping.
I have participated in many exercise programs from water aerobics, weight training, machines, tai chi and yoga but I’ve never had the energy or all the overall good feelings that I’ve had with T-Tapp – not the mention the phenomenal results. The best part is that I did it ALL without dieting!
If I can do this workout at the age of 75 – anyone can!
