Janine's T-Tapp Testimonial - January, 2011:
I was first introduced to Teresa through Nikken, when she was the spokesperson for CardioStrides. At the time, I was more interested in the shoes than the exercise program. However, good things always come around multiple times! While reading Dr. Perricone's 7 Secrets to Beauty, Health and Longevity, I was once again reminded of T-Tapp. This time, I was looking for an exercise program that was easy to do at home, that could be done in a short amount of time and that actually produced visible results! I was 51 and was starting to worry about maintaining my appearance and physique. I had always worked to maintain my weight. I tried to eat right and in moderation. However, it was now becoming harder to maintain my figure. As a new business owner of an acupuncture clinic, maintaining my weight was very important, however, eating right was getting harder. Too many things to do and so little time, left little time for cooking and less time for working out! However, I believe that I must be a role model for my patients, so I must be able to do everything I tell my patients to do! So off I went to find the workout that EVERYONE is looking for!
I initially got online and started reading about T-Tapp. To be honest, it seemed too good to be true. The testimonials on the website and the comments on the forum were unbelievable. However, there were too many people saying the same thing. I figured that this was too widespread to be a hoax so I decided to check it out further. I ran over to Border’s and purchased the book and read it cover to cover in a couple of days. The book made me want to try the workout, so I got online and ordered the workout along with Teresa’s “Yes You Can with T-Tapp” lecture. I first listened to the lecture and as a healthcare provider, I was in awe! Teresa’s lecture was amazing and totally correct based upon what I know to be true. She even said some of the same things I’ve told my patients many times before! Needless to say, I was now convinced that the developer of the workout wasn’t a fake, so the workout should work as it was described in the book, on the web and in the forum.
I popped in the Basic Workout Plus and I hit my next stumbling block…..I am not coordinated and the workout requires you to do multiple things at once. I knew I couldn’t do this without help! Again, back online to look for a local trainer! Thank goodness I found Katarina Creedon. She was having a class shortly so I attended her workout class and then followed up with 2 private sessions. After my second private session, I finally felt like got it! I now felt comfortable doing T-Tapp on my own!
Shortly after, I learned about the 60-Day T-Tapp Challenge and decided to give it a try. My husband was out of town on business, so I wasn’t sure how I was going to get my picture and measurements taken. Frankly, I was a little embarrassed to reveal myself to any of my friends! So, I called Katarina Creedon to ask her if she thought I could do this and find out if she could measure me and take my pictures. With that out of the way, there were no obstacles between me and the 60-Day Challenge, or so I thought!
My husband was coming back at the end of the first week of the challenge, so there was a lot to do to get ready for his return. After all, he had been gone for a month! During the first week, I only managed to workout 2 times! Not a very good start to a 60-Day Challenge. I picked up speed after that and worked out 11 days in a row for at least 40 minutes each time. I switched my workout frequently going between the Ladybug Standing, Ladybug Floor, and Step Away the Inches. Everything was going great until the 2nd half of the challenge when I was sidelined for 1 week due to ant bites all over my body. I picked up a bag of mulch before I realized there was an ant hill underneath it! The last week of the challenge, I was sidelined again for several days because I hurt my hand trimming bushes. Outside work just DOESN’T agree with me! The whole time I ate reasonably well but not perfectly. After all you must indulge a little when attending the many summer barbeques! Despite the fact that I only did T-Tapp 40 of the 60 days of the challenge and sometimes only did the first 20 minutes of the Ladybug Standing workout, I lost a total of 31 1/4 inches!
As I mentioned before, I believe I must practice what I preach and T-Tapp gives me that opportunity with only 20 minutes a day, if that is all the time I can spare to exercise. I have recommend T-Tapp to my patients for various reasons; weight loss, toning, menopausal issues, shoulder problems, sciatica, low back pain, lympathic drainage and general health. Both my patients and I have seen amazing results in a very short amount of time. I now have a 78 year old woman doing T-Tapp to straighten up after being hunched over with low back pain and sciatica for years and we are seeing AMAZING results!
I still don’t eat perfectly all the time and I don’t do T-Tapp every day but I do consistently do T-Tapp to maintain my physique and my health. In order to avoid boredom, I have a number of workouts that I switch between; Basic Workout Plus, Step Away the Inches, Ladybug, and Tempo. Sometimes, I just do Primary Back Stretch, Organs in Place and Half Frogs, Awesome Legs, and Diva Derriere for my workout. Consistency is key. When I don’t T-Tapp regularly, I just don’t feel right and after a period of time I just don’t look right! T-Tapp is truly the workout and works and I will be T-Tapping for the rest of my life! My patients and I both thank Teresa for giving us this amazing gift!
