I am 51, married and we have 5 children from 22 (twins) to 9. I have worn a size 6 since my early twenties. I come from an active family and we are an active family too:-)  I have used swimming, walking/running and aerobics to "workout" increase and use my energy for many years. We hike as a family and play many sports together too. I am long torsoed, thin frame with any extra weight below the waist starting at the hips.

I have fought with imbalanced hormones almost all my adult life. Dr. John Lee's book series, "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About...." has been very helpful. I do use progesterone creme with good results, but it does not cover all the bases. I have also fought hypoglycemia for as long as I can remember. So, diet and exercise have been very important to me in that respect too. As a family, we have eaten a good healthy mainly whole foods diet, and mostly organic.

I am not someone who didn't ignore my health. During 2nd full term pregnancy with my son, my legs swelled and varicose veins started to show up. He always felt stuck on the right side in my hip area to me and when labor came, that's where he was stuck! I had two more boys after him and again my youngest was stuck there too (maybe I have extra room there?????). Whenever it gets above a certain temperature and the humidity rises too, my legs swell from my hips down. Wish it were just my ankles and feet!

In my forties, I noticed my hormones getting worse and my ability to keep my body firm disappearing. Then, I was in a severe car accident where I broke several ribs and suffered a body whiplash. After I was out of the hospital and doing a follow up visit I was told to do what I can to build the muscles around this area so to keep the pain reduced as I age. My chiropractor told me the same thing: I needed more upper body muscles.

Well, I have been thin in the upper body for years. No back fat! So, first I tried weights. Small weights at 3 pounds. I built to 5 pounds and then 10, but pain accompanied the workouts all the way and I ended up seeing the chiropractor even more. I tried "Pushing Yourself To Power" which my husband and son were doing. Basically, it's using your own body resistance to build or strengthen muscle. It helped and the muscle didn't disappear if I couldn't workout, but I still expereinced the pain. Muscle knots and pain became a regular thing!

In March of this year, a fellow homeschooling mom posted something about T-Tapp on our homeschool loop. I felt compelled to investigate. I looked on www.youtube.com/ttappercentral (thank you, thank you for having the sample workouts on youtube!!) and the Try Before You Buy on the website. I read the first chapter of Teresa's book on Amazon. I did T-Tapp Twist, Hoe Downs, Shoulder Rolls, Pretzel Twist and the Lunges before I ordered the book. I felt so good in two weeks!! I had no pain in my shoulders or back!

I bought the book and started doing Chapter 4 and keeping track. I lost a total of 11 inches in almost 4 weeks! I used the coupon and purchased the deal at the time for Basic Plus and Step Away Set. I lost a few more inches and felt even better!  But I also gained! Yup, I gained! When my ribs were broken, I lost the ability to take really good, deep breaths in and, quite honestly, it hurt when I did.

We, as a family, were playing a paper chase one day. The girls and I were the rabbits and the guys the hounds. At one point we heard them coming and ran full throttle up hill to hide and get away from them! I dropped half way and couldn't breath and thought I was having a heart attack (I wasn't). I was so discouraged by that since I had always been able to run and breath well (swim too). My ribs and muscles had accommodated my short breaths and shrunk in. I had known you could expand your rib cage, but everything I tried didn't work.

Well, I am glad to say that between the Basic Plus and Step Away workouts, my rib cage expanded an almost 2 inches! Breathing is so much better now and I can handle longer workouts again and walk longer distances. Walking has become enjoyable again since starting Basic Plus and Step Away. I keep form and I don't struggle with pain. My pace is also much faster.

So, thank you!! I have shared T-Tapp with anyone who would listen (and some who wouldn't too). My 81 yr old mother, who is in pretty good shape, was very open to learning some of the workout and alignment. She had both knees replaced some years ago, and the first one replaced is deteriorating. She strained that knee and her very good chiropractor helped her out, but she still needed to do something to either strengthen the fiber around it to keep going or strengthen her legs to possibly replace it. At 81, she really doesn't want to go through it again. Once I showed her the T-Tapp form, shared the book and helped her with how to keep her feet straight (she had become a "duck walker" and knees bending in), she is feeling better and much encouraged!

I also had shared on a group loop for Specific Carbohydrate Diet (we follow for one son's gut health ((colitis)), one son's autism, and my IBS), and one gal wrote back thanking me after she gave it a try and she had lost inches too! I taught Hoe Downs to my sons and we do them for fun as a family. Helps before and during school time!

I found out that the Premium Blended Alfalfa is what we would call SCD legal, and so I will probably purchase it sometime and give it a try for everything I need it for.....my thinning hair???

I practice the form when driving, I do Primary Back Stretch at work when I need to, and everyone around here knows what "no duck feet", "tuck your butt", "shoulders back, ribs up" and "KLT" mean! :-)

Thank you for making this wonderful workout/body - mind strengthening/life changing challenge available, and at so many discounts too!!

My daughter won the TappCore Contest when I had entered her name. I introduced my daughters to T-Tapp and one has done a boot camp on her own and is doing the Primary Back Stretch, T-Twist and Hoe Downs almost everyday now. College takes it's toll and this is helping her to prepare for the future now that she has graduated. :-)

On our very, very tight income and having had 2 in college with one upcoming, all your discounts and 50% off deals have been greatly appreciated, not too mention again what is available on youtube!

Thank you also to your office staff!! Very kind and patient!

P.S. not needing to see the chiropractor so much, almost not at all. And the Organs In Place have helped my IBS too:-)
